Greetings:
In writing to the church at Corinth the apostle Paul said, “For a great and effectual door is opened to me, and there are many adversaries” (1 Corinthians 16:9).
There are doors of opportunity that are often open to us but many times they are not seen or recognized because of the difficulties that are hanging around that open door.
You might say there are many adversaries around that open door. Adversaries that attempt to hinder you from walking through that open door.
The enemy of all that is good and his workers constantly seek to keep you from entering through the doors that God puts before you. These enemies or demonic forces do not bother to hang around a locked, closed door. There is no action around a locked closed door but the door that opens to opportunity is often contested.
Ask God to allow you to see the open door He sets before you, and do not allow the adversaries to hold you back. Even answered prayer can be contested by difficulty.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, therefore doors of opportunity must be entered by faith. You may have gotten excited about a door that you feel God has opened to you but it turned out more difficult than you expected. Don’t allow that difficulty to dampen your enthusiasm.
Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.”
Thanksgiving opens doors that nothing else can. Give Him thanks in every situation and expect His influence to get you through to victory.
Love to all… pb
