Greetings,
In speaking about Faith In Difficult Times on Sunday morning I mentioned Ne 8:10, where it says “for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
We talked about how it is not our joy but the joy of the Lord that releases strength into us to go through difficult times.
I am convinced that when we read the New Testament’s accounts of God’s people going through difficult times their victory came because they were involved in activities that brought joy to the Lord. Therefore strength was released to them to come out on top holding unto their faith.
My prayer is Lord, what things can I be involved that would bring You joy? I need strength and I realize that my strength in found in Your joy.
In Lu 15:10 we read, “Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Peace and Joy are like close twins, they are found together.
This Sunday Pastor Doug Schneider will be sharing on Holy Spirit and the SHALOM (peace) that He brings. Don’t miss this timely message.
Jesus said in Joh 15:11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy (THAT WHICH BRINGS YOU STRENGTH) may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”
Love to all…
