Greetings to all:
Recently I sense the Lord saying, “Reach out to Me for your security.” The world will present to you a security but it has its limitations. The prophet Jeremiah declared the world’s strategy in suggesting the chaos happening around us is the norm. Jeremiah 8:11 (The Message) says, “My dear Daughter—my people—broken, shattered, and yet they put on band-aids, Saying, ‘It’s not so bad. You’ll be just fine.’ But things are not ‘just fine!’”
For the Christian this need not send fear into our hearts but it should impregnate us with a sense of the importance of being separate from the world’s system and depend on the Kingdom of God system.
In the world’s system we operate on information and knowledge. We gather what we feel we need to know and then base our decisions on the things we’ve learned. One of the problems with that system is the information we gather is often flawed. For example, we hear a report that coffee is bad for us, six months later we hear it’s good for us. We could go on with many examples but you get the picture.
Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, “But let your first care be for His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these other things will be given to you in addition.” The Kingdom of God system is designed and monitored by God. Our responsibility is to believe that His word is true and He will accomplish what He says He will do.
Philippians 4:19: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Deuteronomy 28 gives a description of the blessings that are available to us. Verse 2 says, “And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God.”
Choose Kingdom living and enjoy the true security of a citizen of the Kingdom of God.
Love to all…
