You are loved! You are His beloved! He has placed a banner over you with the word “love” on it (Song of Solomon 2:4).
Perfect love casts out all fear. Therefore you have no reason to fear because of His great love for you.
Within His love you find peace, security, joy. All this is because of His passion for you. You will not gain any greater degree of His love by what you do. His love for you is complete even in your incompleteness.
You will increase your capacity to enjoy His love by how you live, but His love for you does not change just because you have less passion for Him than He has for you.
Since you have set your love upon Him He is your strong tower, He sets you securely on high because you know His name (Psalm 91:14).
Because you have called on His name the Lord says, “You are My beloved son/daughter in whom I am well pleased.”
You may never have heard those words from your earthly father, but your Heavenly Father is perfect, therefore what He says about you is truth, and He has declared the pleasure He has in you.
Jeremiah 31:3 says, “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” He has chosen to love you just as you are; what will you do with His love? That is the question for today.
You can choose to treat His loved as one would a fling (a short period of unrestrained pursuit) or you can meditate daily on your heavenly Father’s love for you and enjoy eternal blessings on your life today. You are loved.
