Greetings to all,
Where I live on PEI the wind is a huge influence on the weather.
If it is coming from the north east or north west, we know the temperature will likely be below normal.
If it is coming from the south it will generally be warmer, which every island welcomes.
Jesus said, “You find it easy enough to forecast the weather—why can’t you read the signs of the times?” (Matthew 16:3).
I would suggest that most of us do not really take the time to discern the signs of the times we are living in.
I believe there are many signs that speak to us here in North America. God is endeavouring to get over to us that we must prepare for turbulent living.
This may not be turbulent financial times; in fact, it may not disturb our comfortable life styles at all. However, that does not mean everything is cool. We are living in a time where the pressure to leave the principles of Kingdom Living is stronger than ever.
Signs are everywhere, primarily in media, in entertainment, in government.
Yet in Christ we have been granted the ability to live in a state of blessing in the midst of turbulent times.
Isaiah 59:19 tells us, “When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.”
The enemy will never come in like a flood if he can seduce you to gradually leave Kingdom principles. He only comes in like a flood when you refuse to become lukewarm. When you refuse to give up calling on the Father to bring heaven to earth.
As we stand our ground as people of faith, we are candidates to see the Lord raise up a standard against every onslaught of the enemy. You have already been declared victorious just the same as if you were wearing the victory’s crown now.
Joel 3:10 says, “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’” Declare His strength today so you can face the days ahead with confidence.
Love to all…
PB
