Greetings to all,
Have you ever done something and thought “I am having the time of my life”?
In the scriptures there is something refers to as a “kairos” time. “Kairos” is an ancient Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment. It can refer to the fulfillment of time or when there are things in place, it moves time into the “now.”
You may be in a position that you are waiting for something specific to happen, thinking that time alone will eventually bring you to the position needed to fulfill your desire. This thinking is similar to some work places where length of time alone qualifies you to advance or gets you a longer vacation period.
This may work in the world but not so in the Kingdom of God. As a kingdom citizen you will be advanced only when you qualify. I am not speaking of salvation but advancement in living “life” as God has it for you.
Not long after I was born again I thought I was doing wonderfully because I was so much better then before. I thought surely I was ready to do great things for God. But as time went on things just seemed to get worse in my life.
I struggled financially, losing what little I had. With each serious trial God was stripping away pride in my life. It was going through the process of having many negative things stripped away that was I ready for my time of advancement.
Your time of breakthrough comes when you have reached a pivotal point in your maturing process. We will be on the maturing process while we are here on earth but there are pivotal points of advancement that take us to another level. This takes serious determination because there will always be hindrances, but God uses these hindrances to mature us.
You have a wonderful opportunity for promotion; your promotion is in your hands. Your diligence in seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness puts you in your “kirois” time so that you can have the time of your life.
The Beatitudes in Matthew 5:1-12 give us great guidance for advancement. In these scriptures we find many things that bring blessing. If we learn to practice these things we will reach our specific time of promotion.
The degree that you work at have these qualities being displayed in your life is the measure of time needed for promotion. Be blessed in doing the Beatitudes and His blessings will overtake you.
Love to all… pb
P.S. After the Beatitudes, Jesus taught us how to pray. Read the seven keys to the Lord’s Prayer here.
