Trust in the Lord with your whole heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perserverance.
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
I can do everything through him who gives me strength
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, Never will I lieave you; never will I forsake you.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.
How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!
Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and self-discipline.
