Greetings to all,
If we were to listen to most of the media reports we would be convinced that there is nothing good going on in the world, however they are only telling one side of the story.
We can hear just about everything that is happening in any corner of the world, but since the mainstream media is so bent on reporting the negative, many get hoodwinked into being emotionally governed by fear.
Since the world system is based on fear, being an optimist means, for the most part, that you will be going against the grain. This should not surprise the believer because the Bible says, “Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity (hostility) with God?” (James 4:4).
Obviously, James is not talking about individuals, nor the beautiful planet He created, but the world system that is bent on perverting everything that God created. The ruler of this world’s system is Satan (John 14:30), and he is doing all he can to steal, kill and destroy, but even he cannot stop the mighty move of God’s Spirit on the earth to bring healing and deliverance to masses of people.
China, Iran, Argentina, Brazil, as well as many other nations in the world are mightily advancing the Kingdom of God. Of course, mainstream media will not cover this good news because it is opposed to the Lord’s work, but we know that He is moving in these nations with signs, wonders and visions of Jesus coming in the night to bring them to Christ.
This ought to be encouraging to the believer as we realize that the Kingdom of God is advancing and the time of His coming is near. Canada is ready for revival; therefore, we can expect God to be moving in our personal lives to clear out everything that is not essential for Kingdom living.
God will do things to get the attention of His Kingdom people and to get the attention of those He wants to bring into the Kingdom.
No matter what you are dealing with today, you must realize that you are on the winning side and Satan is defeated. Anything that is bringing death or destruction in your life is from the enemy, and, according to Romans 16:20, “The God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.”
See yourself as a victorious man or woman of God so that you can face the world with confidence.
