Matt 10:15 Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

What does it mean to receive something as a little child? If we knew the full answer to this question we would open the door for new adventures in the Kingdom.

A little child will take what is said to them and consider it the truth. They will not question what is said but act on it. If the word of God is received in this manner we can know that it pleases the Father and we can take the same joy from pleasing the Father as a little child would their parents.

When a little child steps up to perform some sort of play or song for their parents they step into the moment. They step into the performance. If it is playing the part of a policeman then for that moment they actually consider themselves to be a police officer. They live for the moment of pleasing their parents. As believers following the Spirit we must step into the moment of obeying Him and enjoying His Presence at any time. With the help of Holy Spirit we are someone who is pleasing the Father.

Little children never apologize for a poor performance. They do their best and they know their parents will receive them with joy.
