Eph.(3:20) With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine. When Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. opened in 1974, Mrs. Disney was sitting beside Walter Cronkite. Walt Disney had passed away a few years earlier. Walter Cronkite wanted to say just the right thing to Mrs. Disney, so he leaned over to her and said, “Wouldn’t it be great if Walt were here to see this today.” Mrs. Disney wisely replied, “If Walt had not first seen this you would not be seeing it today.” We can only guess at the amount of time Walt Disney spent imagining Disney World. He allowed his God given imagination to capture his thoughts and bring them into reality. He had seen it long before it was manifest in the natural. In thinking about Eph. 3:20, I ask the question, “God can to do more than what we ask or imagine, but will He?”. In other words, does He look to see what we are setting our thoughts on before He acts?
What are we imagining to happen in advancing the God of Kingdom on PEI? What I’ve seen in the South American church has stirred me to set my mind on possibilities of a harvest of souls that would change our society. Col (3:2) “Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.” Souls are the only commodity we take to heaven. Imagine the lost filling the churches and ignite God’s power within us to bring it to pass
