“Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim at earth and you get neither. If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.” — C.S. Lewis

The above quote reminds me of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

There is so much of this world around us we often forget that the world around us is only temporary and that our most profitable focus is on things above. Seeing things from heaven’s prospective is far more rewarding. I have found that I cannot get heaven’s vision when I focus on myself.

Faith is choosing to find someone to bless/encourage/befriend when I so desperately need a blessing for myself.
