The best and most beautiful and most powerful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.
Helen Keller
A Great Modern Mistake is that “the mind equals reason and the heart equals emotion.” Most people believe that. If that were the case then why is it that a person could stand on a high ladder and then freeze out of fear.
You might explain every reason in your mind of why you can continue or climb back down, reason it all out in you mind about the safety of the ladder, yet you still can not move. Solomon is remembered as the wisest man ever, and it was not because of the size of his brain. Solomon asked for a wise and discerning heart (1 Kings 3:9).
Our deepest thoughts are held in our hearts. Mary “pondered them in her heart” (Luke 2:19),
Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues (or actions) of life.
May your deepest thoughts be overshadowed by Holy Spirit’s impression of His love for you.
