10 Inspiring Quotes From Living Christian Leaders

There are so many great Christian leaders today, who have a huge impact on our world. They live their lives for Jesus every day, and they set an example of how we should live too. They are not perfect, but they have learned how to overcome and lead a successful Christian life.

Billy Graham

“I’ve read the last page of the Bible. It’s all going to turn out all right.”

When I am discouraged about things that are going on, this quote picks me up, dusts me off and gets me back on track again.

Kenneth Copeland

“Everything you do and every word you say can become a ministering seed. You can be a blessing to everyone with whom you come in contact.”

We need to live a life that matters, and this verse reminds me of that. My actions count. The things I do for others count. I can make a difference in someone else’s life.

Joyce Meyers

“Battles are fought in our minds every day. When we begin to feel the battle is just too difficult and want to give up, we must choose to resist negative thoughts and be determined to rise above our problems. We must decide that we’re not going to quit. When we’re bombarded with doubts and fears, we must take a stand and say: ‘I’ll never give up! God’s on my side. He loves me, and He’s helping me! I’m going to make it!’” (Read full article here)

Joyce Meyers always has a way of taking what could be difficult subjects and making them easy. We must never give up the fight.

T. D. Jakes

“Stop watering things that were never meant to grow in your life. Water what works, what’s good, what’s right. Stop playing around with those dead bones and stuff you can’t fix, its over…leave it alone! You’re coming into a season of greatness. If you water what’s alive and divine, you will see harvest like you’ve never seen before. Stop wasting water on dead issues, dead relationships, dead people, a dead past. No matter how much you water concrete, you can’t grow a garden.”

This verse reminds me that I need to keep my focus in the right place. Not on the past and things that are gone, but on the future and what I can grow there.

Kirk Franklin

“Most people have desires that are great, and they want to do great things, and they don’t want to be negative people or they don’t want to live in pessimistic attitudes, but the problem is a lot of them were not given the right tools. They were not given the right blueprint of how to build a building.”

Successful living requires the right tools, and one of them is God’s Word. It is the best plan for life.

Nicole C. Mullen

“When I call on Jesus, all things are possible.”

We serve a God, who can take what seems impossible and show you how. Many inventions created by Christians who trusted God to show them how to make the inconceivable possible.

Michael W. Smith

“Some of the most powerful times are when we’re quiet.”

I have learned over the years, that the best way to experience God is when I am quiet and still. When I shut out all the noise and distractions and let God be God in my life.  Then He shows up with that still small voice that changes my life completely.

Rick Warren

“Forgiveness must be immediate, whether or not a person asks for it. Trust must be rebuilt over time. Trust requires a track record. If someone hurts you repeatedly, you are commanded by God to forgive them instantly, but you are not expected to trust them immediately, and you are not expected to continue allowing them to hurt you.” (Read full article here.

One of the reasons I love this quote is that it shows you how to deal appropriately with people. You keep your relationship healthy in God, but at the same time protect yourself and not become a doormat.

Bill Hybels

“If the request is wrong, God says, No. If the timing is wrong, God says, Slow. If you are wrong, God says, Grow. But if the request is right, the timing is right, and you are right, God says, Go!”

So many times we get frustrated with God because things aren’t going the way we want it to go or when we want it to go. This quote reminds us that God’s timing is perfect and that we should trust it.

Max Lucado

“A woman’s heart should be so hidden in God that a man has to seek Him just to find her.”

My daughter loves this quote and is living her life by it. She’s 22 and has never had a boyfriend. Not because guys haven’t asked, because they have, she is waiting for the man who loves God as much as she does. She knows that God has the perfect man for her, and she is willing to be patient until he comes.

I love reading quotes from Christians who have walked the walk and not only survived but thrived. They have had struggles, but through it all, they trusted God and received the fruit of their faithfulness. I hope that these quotes help you and encourage you to, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” Proverbs 3:5-6.
